What is the ASCII table?
The ASCII table maps each basic character to a numeric code from 0 to 127, in decimal and hexadecimal. It covers the letters, digits, symbols and control characters used in computing.
What is the ASCII value of the letter A?
The uppercase letter A has the decimal value 65, which is 41 in hexadecimal. The lowercase a is at 97 in decimal, which is 61 in hexadecimal.
What is the difference between ASCII and Unicode?
ASCII covers only 128 basic characters, while Unicode spans thousands of characters from every language. In fact, the first 128 Unicode code points match ASCII exactly.
